How many of you guys have a turboed car and still using stock shocks or aftermarket shocks?

im broke right now and still using stock shocks, i was wondering if i was the only
one or not.

 

I'm runing tokico's.
But my e-brake lever is still stock just incase you wanted to know

 

I'm running bilsteins with my turbo setup

 

Tokico shocks, sotck springs, not for long though, I'm swapping in the nuspeed springs by the end of next week.

 

I got completely stock sus. (turbo EG hatch), too much body roll. It's kinda dangerous, haven't rolled yet though

 

Tokico Illumina's on H&R Sports

Night and day difference from Progress Springs on stock shocks.

Koni Yellows w/ Neuspeed Race

I try and stiffen up the rear and soften the front a little to keep the wheels planted during launches. I'm still messing with it whenever the car actually runs.

 

what ways besides helping with traction can shock help?

Not to seem like an ***, but you might want to clarify this statement I think most people on this board are using either stock or aftermarket shocks

well, originally it was a poll giving you 2 choices 1)stock shocks or 2)aftermarket
but i wasnt suppost to have polls in tech forum, so mod took it off. sorry.

Stock yo! Can't afford a suspension or tires yet, since I've put so much into my motor

 

Koni yellows made a big improvement in braking, traction and handling, definitely well worth buying. Now I am going to get some skunk2 drag coilovers and make the car way to stiff for everyday driving I guess I'll be swapping them out for regular lowering springs when I am likely to be driving on the streets for long periods.

 

neuspeed sports and stock dampers. will upgrade when stock wear out which will be soon.

I still got stock shocks on my car, got everything else done thoguh.

 

Bilsteins on the front, Illuminas on the back, Neuspeed Race all around.

Stiffen the rear for launch days, loosen for smooth, or somewhat smooth riding days.
