please take a look at this piston!!
ok here's the deal.. it's a 2000 civic ex w/ a 97 gsr motor and a f-max turbo kit. the motor is internally stock, it was running 8 psi , the car has a holley fuel pump, v-afc, avc-r, the two addtional injectors w/ the f-max kit, msd boost retard and 6al. there were no marks on the rod bearing and the head looks good, no visable damage. i can't really narrow it down it one thing hoping you guys can help. btw the motor only has 4k miles on it since a complete rebuild (the 1st 3k were n/a). oh and how do you put the pics into the post, everytime i try it gets screwed up

yea the walls a little a scraped up nothing major it barely catches your fingernail. i still have no idea what happened, i thought before it was apart maybe it was a bent valve, i'm kinda confused now as to what really happened????
are you trying to ask how it blew? chances are, if you have busted ring lands, it was detonation. what cylinder was this? are you sure you have enough fuel?

Thats detination. My friends d16y7 did the same thing although he was running 11-12psi. He broke 2 of his pistons..they looked just like yours. He said it wasnt bad detination, sometimes it was just hesitate.
Never the less bad tuning is to blame.
