Please post your best 60ft's if you have a quaife or Kaaz, or any other type of LSD. Also state if you are running slicks and what size. Also if you are turbo or supercharged. I just want to get a basic idea if an LSD is worth to buy for me. I am pulling o.k 60fts now, but just wondering how much better I can get with an LSD.

we (ultraspeed) have a 99 si: quaife lsd.. drag turbo, endyn pistons/rods.... running 16psi he usually pulls 1.7 60fts on 24.5in slicks... we just cant seem to get him in the 11s..... his best 1/4 was 12.0

Hehe, 2.0 on street yoko avi's with no LSD. I think thats pretty damn impressive!

 

Not to say your a liar or anything but that's pretty hard to believe!! I guess it could be possible though?

I still don't know if I should get an LSD. With my best 60ft being a 1.72, usually around the low 1.8's, I think I will wait until I can put more power to the ground. I have Phantom Grip now....I think sometimes it works (seriously). Usually I pull mid to low 1.8's, and out of nowhere, 1.75 and sometimes even better. Thats why I call it, Random Slip.

 

Yes its possible! My bro in his '94 cx hatch w/D16z6 w/greddy turbo, no lsd, regularly runs 2.1 60 fts. on the stock, worn to the treadwear indicators, 185/60-14 bridgestone potenzas. I have hit a 2.1 60 ft. twice in my car on the same tires.

 

Thanks for the backup, I wasnt about to get into an argument. Considering if I hadnt gone out drinking that night after I went to the track I would have evidence of my timeslip. But like a jackass, I lose the slips......Oh well

BTW, like U said, I think you'd need a little more power to pull 1.6 60 ft times, even with the LSD.
