Default Please offer help/advice....Misfire problems?

I had the weirdest thing happen last weekend....I was driving my car, everything ran fine, no problems, nothing. Then later in the day, it started to 'miss' around 5k rpms. I figured the plugs were fouled or that I had badplug wires. So I parked the car for the week, and decided to work on it next friday, being today. Changed the plugs, gapped themto .030, put in new plug wires since mine were kinda sketchy looking anyways, checked the rotor and contacts, just a basic checkup. Still no dice. In first gear, when I rev out to 5 grand, it moves fine up until then and thne it just falls flat on its face. Shift into second, pulls through 5k but sputters and pops. Im running they emanage hardware with the profec e so I can make adjustments to both the fuel and ignition map. The car isnt overheating, and im all out ideas. The a/f doesnt go past 12.3 about when the popping occurs, and it doesnt sound like knock. Im running a t3/t04e turbo on an built LSVTEC setup, 9:1 compression. After the popping occurs and you shift out into neutral, you can smell fuel. This led me to believe it was either too rich or not getting spark. I have the MSD 6A ignition and external coil. Could the coil be bad? The ignition setup is only about a year old. I cant figure out the problem....can someone please give me some ideas?
