Piston to wall clearance
What is the best clearance to run on oem piston to cylinder wall ? Oem clearance ? Or a little bit more loose ?
The block is a gsr 81.5mm and it won't have much more than 300 whp

Re: Piston to wall clearance (plonger)
well the piston company should have a sheet on where you're supposed to run them at..(if name brand piston)
but if you google endyne they have good info on building tips

Re: Piston to wall clearance (turbodegsi)
Like said, it all depends on the pistons you are running...and even then, depending on preference, the boost being run can dicticate looser/tighter tolerances.

Re: Piston to wall clearance (plonger)
run them at the piston manufacturers specs. if you are running real high boost or a high silicon content piston then the specs might vary a tiny bit
