Piston to wall clearance

Default Piston to wall clearance

What is the best clearance to run on oem piston to cylinder wall ? Oem clearance ? Or a little bit more loose ?


The block is a gsr 81.5mm and it won't have much more than 300 whp

oem piston = oem clearance.

well the piston company should have a sheet on where you're supposed to run them at..(if name brand piston)
but if you google endyne they have good info on building tips

Like said, it all depends on the pistons you are running...and even then, depending on preference, the boost being run can dicticate looser/tighter tolerances.

run them at the piston manufacturers specs. if you are running real high boost or a high silicon content piston then the specs might vary a tiny bit
