Default PISTON question

was wondering what if someone only has Pistons on their turbo integra LS, will they be needing rods? or is it just an option, or a must..what happens if theres no rods but with low compression pistons?? thanks for help

You can shoot peen it... might as well get some Eagle Rods. JE Piston & Eagle Rod

Seriously though, if you were to get Pistons, you might as well get rods for an extra $300 more? because If you're planning on pushing 400 WHP what's the point of just getting pistons when the weak link is the stock rod snapping under a great deal of pressure?
