Default piston melted ?

2 and 3 were damaged piston, There is something wrong
97 octan ,12psi boost,10 AFR

Vague thread is vague

without a full setup list and knowing what you were doing when it broke we can't tell you ****.

although 10:1 is wayyy too rich regardless. so I'm willing to bet the tune (or rather the lack thereof) is what killed your motor. It's awfully hard to melt a forged piston.

Was it professionally tuned? Any detonation? How much total timing? How do the plugs look? Max EGTs?
