Default piston everbore question.

I have a 81mm LS block. Do I need new pistons if I bore to 81.5mm?

this is one of those questions that you should probably figure out for yourself... otherwise your missing out on some key concepts. do some piston to wall clearance research.

yes. you will need 81.5 pistons with boring the block to 81.5.

LMAO this is the question of the year lol

self explanatory!

but why are your going overbore and not just a hone?? are the walls scored? if not just clean them up with a hone job and reuse the pistons if there still good with new rings installed.
