Default Piston Comp.

So right now I'm building my motor and it's comming time for me to order up my pistons. I'm going to be doing a 95mm stroker crank and the block is bored to 81.5mm. What kinda of compression ratio should I be shooting for I've I'm looking for high 400's to low 500's?

i wish i had that problem

As for the comment about no replacement for displacement, the gains will be neglible in comparison to the amount of money spent for the crank, matching stroke rods, and machining. Save yourself the money, if you really don't need it and don't care how you spend it...I'm always taking donations.

if i was you i would go with a larger bore and larger stroke if needed, otherwse just keep it stock and put the money into quality turbo parts

I'm rocking a peakboost turbo kit and I have a full 3" turbo back exhaust. I've been buying and storing my parts for about a year now and I've got everything. I came across a really cheap block so I decided I wanted to build a motor as well. The block is bored to 81.5mm, sleeve guards installed, and decked. I'm planning on buying the Brian Crower stroker kit, it comes with everything.
