The manifold is the brace. That is 8gauge you are looking at, not that thin stuff you are used to seeing.

its not a bad idea to add an external brace, but i really really doubt it will need it. only time will tell! it might make more sense to just brace the downpipe and use no flex.

Bracing the DP to the engine/block, then adding a flex section after the brace is a common/excellent way of structural support.

what are the specs on the engine and turbo??
B Series Engine
Standard Tseries Turbo
you plan on using like a civic radiator?

where is your raditor gonna go?
In the front of the car on the passenger side
Is the motor only held up by three mounts?
Yes
Using a air/liquid intercooler?
Yes
Driving this thing on the street?
Yes
