Default People w/ GReddy turbo timer...

I noticed that in the instructions, they say that you can use an "optional wiring harness" to connect to your power harness in the car, so that no wire splicing needs to be done (besides parking brake and speed signal)..

But, I have only seen harnesses offered online for factory turbo cars (Supra, RX-7, Eclipse, etc). Is there a harness available for the Integra? I haven't been able to find one using search engines.

In that case, how did you guys wire your timers? Judging by the instruction diagram, it looks like there is a lot of pain-in-the-*** wire splicing to be done to get this little thing hooked up. Is there a shortcut I can take?

There is not one for the integra. Just wire it in... only 3 wires and ground.

Bah, damn me. I expected to get the "do a search" phrase, because I did a search 5 minutes after I posted this and found that we had a discussion on it already....

oh well, looks like I'll be doing some soldering this weekend.

You can use one from the Civic.

No, they make them for cars that come with factory turbos.

You just need to tap into the big white wire in the large ign harness, and then the black/white and black/yel wires in the other ign harness. Then you just connect the black wire to ground and you are set.

dammit, I can't find that page in Helms that talks about the ignition harnesses.
Do you remember which color wires on the greddy timer correspond to the black/yellow, black/white and fat white ignition wires?

Thanks...
Instead of cutting up some more wires under there, I'm thinking of just splicing into the ones I wired for the gauges.
So the blue for acc (accessories) I think I'll splice into my boost controller wire that's going to the radio fuse. For red (constant 12v) I'll go into the power door locks fuse. Green I can splice into a wire soldered into my ignition wire already. This should work, right?

Dustin, you seem to know a lot about the Greddy timer, 50 bucks is yours if you know how to change that annoying tune it plays!

I just used a multi-meter and checked each wire to determine which is which, it's fairly easy stuff really like Dustin said. Just know that there are 5 wires down there, but you'll only be using 4. If you can't determine which is which (I used my shop manual and the meter), just strip a little off of each and test each one with the meter till you've got your 4 and your good to go.

Sorry, I don't know how to change it but I do know how to turn it off. With the turbo timer ON, press and hold the power button for 2-3 seconds. after you release it, you'll see some indication and the music will no longer play.

I even did a google search and found nothing on how to change the music, though i did find a guy who changed his to play Better Off Alone...

I don't even have a greddy timer so don't ask why i even care about this
