PeakBoost VS. Full Race
Ok guys... im shopping for a turbo kit....I wanted to get the peakboost or the full race... i know alot of peolpe dont have the peakboost so i really dont have ne fed back on the kit... I just need som help on makin a life long decison lol.... lil help guys... pro cons of each ne thing
oh god don't open up this can of worms....personally I like the full-race for the backdoor intercooler. you have to get rid of your A/C either way why not eliminate an intercooler pipe
But I think peakboost is great for the price 600 cheaper and you get a fan and an fmu

Might wanna do a poll for this to simplify this...my vote's with Full-Race--and we have access to ANY turbo kit, period. Or, try a search. When searching, try using the "archived" version. Also, for more responses, use the "post bodies" version. I'm sure Full Race can answer any questions and/or concerns you may have. They are frequents on this site.

full race has the best customer service too.. even when everything in the world breaks on you.

I don't see the back door intercooler alone as a reason to go with full race. You can run the same setup with most any other manifold, and I don't really see any advantage to that setup anyways.

I pieced together my own kit but I would go with peakboost cause its cheaper and they're customer service is excellent. Extra money u can spend it on tuning

I've never heard of PeakBoost, but they may be perfectly good. Most people on this website think that Full Race is the only way to make good power. It's more for status than anything else. Sure, the welds are beautiful, but I've seen some nice work from other people. Before you start posting dyno results proving that FR can make great power, I've already seen them. Bottom line...If you have money to burn, are building a race car, and want to be able to put a FR sticker on your car so your "friends" can ask you to pop your hood, then get the Full Race. If not, then there are plenty of other choices that will work just as well, but may not look as pretty.

If you have traction bars, and your running the traditional style intercooler you will run into clearance issues. The back door intercooler eliminates that from my experience...

I haven't really looked in depth at either of the kits, so not knowing anything about either one, buy the one that comes with the better management/most tuning options. That's what you should be concerned with anyways.
Their is a company called Mental Addiction Motorsports that is in the development stages for their honda kits. They are doing a 99 SI with a B16 here in a few days.
From what I have seen they are the premire Mazda Protege turbo manufactor and are looking to get into the Honda market.
They post alot over on http://www.msprotege.com
This is this link with a picture of their direct bolt-in MSP manifold.

I don't think they know who one-fab is.Plus it doesn't even look like a one-fab mani. When designing a manifold, their is only a few ways of running tubes.
It looks like they have more than 1 design manifold
