Peakboost Powered RSX
^^^ Looks good.
What's the boost control like with KPro? Is it still using a solenoid like the AEM or something where you just increase/reduce the duty cycle?

the kpro boost control works really good, it has a fixed duty cycle setting or a gear based "map" that you can use. both control the duty of the selonoid valve.

Well, actually something new is going on. I am picking up another motor Saturday to start building on the side. Figured that I went this far might as well go all the way now, lol.
Sleeved bottom end, manley rods, CP 9.8:1 pistons, OEM bearings, supertech valvetrain, OEM cams
Not sure if I will stick with the GT3076 at the beginning or jump straight to either a 35r or a gt37 but the end goal will be about 600-650whp on C16
I haven't updated this thread in a long time.
Decided to do a simple motor build. Going with stock sleeves with a fresh rehone, 86mm Wiseco pistons (9:1 compression), updated Eagle Rods with upgraded ARP rod bolts, fresh OEM bearings, new oem head gasket, arp head studs and I may be to the head if I have some cash left over for the valvetrain. I am having the motor built by Chris so whenever I have a chance to drive to Houston and meet up with him the build will begin.
Its not going to be a huge HP setup but it should be good for a good 600whp or so, afterall this is my daily and not a track *****. I jumped on this because I got the stuff at a good price that I couldn't refuse.
I probably wont install the motor for awhile because the next few months are so jamb packed with crap to do and I am going to be leaving awhile for my little sisters wedding in Hawaii.
I probably will wait till the summer to actually drop the motor in. Maybe by then I can get my hands on a better gear set. Gear-x is currently talking to me about testing out a new straight cut 1-4 synchro set for our transmission so I will see what happens with that.
I had been holding off doing this build because I have been having tranny issues. I have blown 2 trannys in the last 6 months. Hopefully this deal with Gear-x will help alleviate the issues I have been having. Afterall, what good is all the power if I can't put it to the ground.
