Peakboost manifold cracked!

I ordered a Peakboost turbo kit through Terry @ Boostfed racing in May 2006. I had my car at a local muffler shop today to fix an exhuast leak, and they notified me of a crack in my manifold. At first I didn't believe them, because I know how high quality Peakboost manifolds are, but to my surprise I popped the hood, and there it was right on the Wastegate flange. I'm wondering what I should do because the car is my DD and I can't have it sitting forever. I'm taking the manifold off tonight, and probably going to throw some temporary welds on it at a muffler shop.
Thanks for any help,
Ammar

+1 Ken will take care of you and do it in quick order.
I have had personal experience of his customer service and I will vouch for his company

Dude if you weld that manifold yourself or have anyone else but peakboost weld it I PROMISE you they will no longer warranty that manifold. Do not touch the manifold or let anyone else for that matter. I can assure you Peakboost will void your warranty if it has been temporarily welded like you stated you wanted to do.

I saw a peakboost at my localc track once. My freind who is a welder immediatley pointed out the undercut of the welds. You can also tell from the picture you posted. Im not saying peakboost is bad because I have no experience with them.
Edit: form that pic it looks like the guage of the material used. At least peakboost honours the warranty!

Almost every Peakboost manifold I've seen has undercut welds.

Quite strange isn't it. Their pics on the net show otherwise. When I saw the manifold in person I seriously thought it was a home-brew or copy of a peakboost manifold. Its as if NO filler was used.

Just send it back, they've got a lifetime warranty on their work. I've only ever heard of 2 of their manifolds cracking, mine and yours. After this many years, that's like 2 out of a few hundred.
Wow, I am wondering since it cracked at the WG fitting does that mean if he did try to drive it like that it would overboost because of the leak? I heard mostly good things about peakboost but I just got a LoveFab manifold
I had a crack develop on the weld right above the collector/hotside flange a while back. My kit was purchased about the same time as well.
They took care of me and sent me a new mani in short order. I can also say that the quality of this new manifold was definitely a few steps above the old one. They analyze the defective manifolds and correct any problems with the new ones and it shows.
Great company, get in touch with them and they will take care of you.

if you buy ss autosuck and dont brace it.
I have a hx52 with dual gates on a Passenger topmount mani.
my **** dont crack

Give it time
How long have you been running it?
Ive owned a few high end jazma spec manifolds and one made by burns and they did. thats why a flex joint is needed to give it some flexability if not the tq pulls on it. the weakest part of a tubular manifold is its welds no matter how good you are at welding it happens.
even the ones we use for nascar crack over time.
thank god for the lifetime warranty
