Default Peakboost Kit Horsepower

I am finishing building my motor right now and I am wondering what power I can get out of this kit. I put down 303whp on stock internals last year, but this year I am built. I know what the turbo is rated out...but I want some real life numbers..i searched and didn't find anything that directly related.

What have you put down with the original kit (turbo, intercooler, wastegate) with adequate injectors and management?

Also, just for curosity...please include your 1/4 mile trap speed. Trying to figure out if I want to change my 4th gear.

The short:
-max Peakboost power
-1/4 trap speeds

Thanks!

YOU again hehe...

Turbo is efficient for 500 hp before power tapers off. Its a nice sized t3/t4 on the b-series kits. 57 trim..

Depending on the boost level is where your get your traps at. I cant remember who it was, but i know one EG had the kit on a gsr at 20psi.. He ran a 11.2@ 12XX Mph..

Check the post your peakboost pics thread. There are a couple people whom are running the kits that posted up there compete times with setup and engines etc.

Have you made 500whp with a 57 trim personally? Has anyone?

Ricky,
I'll need to look in that thread again. Yeah I never go away....haha... I need to look into gettin a bigger turbo...but my budget is a little tapped on rebuilding this motor. Are you going to come to any of the midwest races?

I thought the tubo would make 450whp...but I just wanted to check around.

Thanks everyone for the reassurance.

A T3/TO4E 57-trim with a stage V hot side and a .82 a/r turbine will make 500whp, I've seen it done uncorrected on a friends DSM. I think there have even been some DSM's with 50-trims that have done 500 WHP. THere seems to be a phobia of running high boost on Hondas, most people with mid sized turbos will stop around 20 psi. Get a 5-bar map in there, and crank the bitch to 30+ PSI with the wastegate closed and watch it make power. Everyone said the PT76-GTS on a buddies mustang was out of steam at 840 RWHP, but we unhooked the line to the wastegate and it made a repeatable 990 RWHP on lots of dyno, track, and street passes.

It will hit the 450whp mark, its just gonna be pushing it and the power band will really die out.

I am sure Ken Peak will be sure to enlighten everyone else on exactly how much it can make. I know he tests his stuff 10x over...

As for the races, I might. My schedule is insane these days. Didnt even sleep last night working on the site. If I am in the area for whatever reason, I will let you guys know.

We personally have never hit 500whp on a 57trim...i think 440-450 is its max as we were able to tell with a customers car...The only people i know hitting 500 on 57trims are srt4's and dsm's....We could do a test we have a few on the shelf....

The Dsport eg made 402 on pump gas @ 16 psi with the Peak-Boost. Now we are going to see what we can get out of the new PB kit! Check the Peak-Boost site the car and the dyno are on there!

Civic4u2nv, You have some nice videos. Watching your videos brought back memories from last year...man I can't wait to get my car running. I have a few boys to teach a lesson this year.
