I reciently posted a thread about peakboost not coming through with a order of mine, but the turbo finally came today and Ken Peak even sent me a free vaccum block for the long wait. Just thought I would post a update with the outcome of the situation. If you didn't catch the previous thread then don't ask what its about, I don't want to get suspended from H-T again for using H-T for what its good for.

 

turns out that the H-T police deleted the previous thread. Too bad, its probably political or something, maybe they are friends of Ken and wanted the thread gone becuase it was leaking out some info that made Peakboost look bad, Bad-Rep. But with 10-15 people complaining about them in 2 days time, what a coincidence. What bothers me is why did it take this long for them to resolve your problem ? And who knows, but maybe if you hadn't created that thread, you would still be stuck with no parts.

I'm glad to hear you FINALLY received what you paid for. As mentioned we need to spread the word about what has gone on.

 

they try to HUSH things like these up, but threads like these will be far superior than one company. Spread all over the web before this thread gets deleted -- because you know that politics on HT is just retarted.

a few instances out of thousands of customers is something that any company can have. It's the nature of business, but those companies with great customer service are those that survive for many years.

I haven't bought anything from peakboost, but I have followed the threads for years and I believe they have a great product plus service from what I have read.

I suppose you don't buy anything then do you, because as a consumer of everyday products I have had instances with several big name companies, but I still shop there.

for all of you who says it's political no it's not. I deleted it. I deleted it because Peakboost explained what happened and people continued to give him grief over it. SInce i have had personal experience with Ken I know he's no thief or trying to get over on anyone so the thread was invalid and the OP was being a tad impatient. especially when things just happen out of our control sometimes. Then he added extra parts for free and all he was obligated to do was give the turbo. I deleted the post cause i had complete faith and knew the parts would come in becuase i trust Ken just as the parts did.

OP you were banned for a short time. not for making the post but being completely rude to me. Not Ken, Me. But i only gave you a 3 day ban, just the time you needed to get the turbo. and repost that you received it. So just as i planned..haha

OP makes me want to stop contributing... people like this who drag other members of the honda community through the mud for absolutely NO reason is rediculous to me.

Ken is a long standing supporter of the community AND this website, he works rediculous hours, sells products at REDICULOUSLY good prices, and has contributed more to the community than I or MANY MANY other long standing members could ever dream of doing.

For his name to get dragged through the mudd over a delay is utterly rediculous to me.

The fact that OP got ANYTHING free out of it for do it makes me sick.

This is exactly why im out of the honda FI game...nothing but problems. Ive had an IMMENSE amount of problems with my recent build. I CANT WAIT to reveal details if my car doesnt get done right this time.
