How many of you have painted your intercooler black? to be a sleeper? or just for theft prevention? im thinking about painting mine, just so nobody knows that i have a 550 hp beast under my hood... or is that gay to paint it?

 

I'm looking into getting my intercooler anodized.

 

I painted mine, I just painted it at an angle which if done should not really mess with the pressure drop at all. I did just one coat and then plus I will be putting a black panty hoes over it, for even more sleeper style.

I painted mine black.. worked like a charm

Ditto... light coats at an angle so the paint doesnt coat all the way through the fins
