Painting IC piping?
Anyone do it on their setup? I am having my piping installed and my tuner asked me if I want a specific color. He said red would look good with my valve cover. Anybody have any pics. I was thinking of gunmetal to match my rims. thanks.
I think the yellow would look like ***, because it might not be the exact shade and probably not crinkled, so it wouldn't match the valvecover...anyway, it'll be more prone to dirt. I'm either just polishing mine or painting it good 'ole flack black (high temp).

it amazes me how this PIC has been used to show SO many things..
i used to see it littered all over the place, and here it is again.

gunmetal or gloss black would look good. i assume you have a yellow type r, if you get the pipes red it is gonna look rice or as stated before like ronald mcdonald...
True.. The Greddy Piping used to be blue and there are so many scratch all over the pipe.. SO my friend and I decided to paint it black and it look very nice.. It match the Hayame Red Fuel Rail and black Piping because of the dark color can match.. I used High temp Paint and it work fine.. Anyway paint it black and it look good...
thanks for the input guys, ya I think I will end up going with gunmetal. I think red will be way to tacky. My car goes in to be boosted thursday so I should have pics up this weekend, I can't wait to boost!!
