P06 and P28 Question pics!!!!
I have a supercharged integra GSR, and i have been tuned on the fmu for about a year now, adn finally decided to get the car ACTUALLY tuned. anyway i ordered a j-k tuning chipped ecu zif socket for chrome/neptune, my questoin is i payed $30 more for a chipped p28 instead of a P06, what is the difference between the two ecus? Because the ecu i reiceved says P06 on the case, and i wrote him and he said hte internals are a P28, and he said there is no difference in the ecus, so i asked him why they are different prices then... well i havent got the answer to that yet, but anyways here are some pics, does this look right? i paid $150 shipped, is this a P28 or a P06?

If you need any other pics to help me jsut let me know, whatch guys think ?

Not to be an *** or anything. But I have sold a ton of ecus on here. I might know a thing or two about them.

i understand man, i am just asking, the ecu looks great, i just had my dad a while back cause he is a electrician and tech, chip my p28 so im not used to this p06 thing... that is the reason i am getting other opinions, cause i dont understand why if you sell a chipped p28 ecu, why you wouldnt jsut ship a chipped p28, ya know....

but if this will work, and is what i need to tune on chrome or neptune, that is awesome, cause this is one of the best looking sockets iv seen and cleanest ecus
Because P06's cost significantly less money. Put a little labor and a few bucks in more and your potential profit is higher. Not to mention there are significantly more p05/06's in the world than p28s.

This is soo true. Honestly it is hard to find a damn P28 for less than $150 around here.

so this **** is straight then.... like i said the ecu is clean as hell, so as long as everyhting is straight, this guy has some kick *** ecu's
if it came from john that ecu is more then fine! gl with the charged gsr, i bet you wont believe the difference between your "tuned" FMU and the chipped/tuned setup... esp being supercharged
Awesome thanks for the responds, and thanks j-k for the ecu, I changed over to a 2 1/2" collector header from a dc 4-2-1 2 1/4, and running a omni test pipe nad buddy club spec II from the stock cat and a apexi world sport cat back, and rc 440's , aem short ram, stock internals, i am just hoping for like 265, the car laid down 238whp and 189ftq on the fmu, you, does that sound like a realistic number to shoot for???

238whp on fmu is really high imo, im suprised you made that much, but no matter what your car will run better and last longer with the chipped setup, just make sure you have a knowledgable tuner tune your car asap, also get your self a walbro pump
