This past Thursday, DIRep, Espanol, and myself tore down my I/H/E 99 GS Integra to install my turbo kit. It's a custom kit with it's main components being a T3/T04E, Tial 45mm wastegate and Pan Auto manifold... We got the car apart Thursday in about two hours, and began working some more on Friday at about 2 o'clock in the afternoon... Me, DIRep, and Flamenco-T worked all day Friday and by that night the kit was pretty much installed... The only thing left was for my piping to be made... On Sat. we took it to a local shop (VSV) where I used to work, and I had my charge pipe and downpipe made... By 4 o'clock Sat. my car was boosted...

Needless to say I am very pleased with the results and the time it took to install it... A huge thanks to everyone who helped work on the car, get parts for the car, and who gave me advice... ... Thanx again to Flamenco-T, DIRep, Espanol, Arturbo, and my boys Justin and Stoney at VSV... Another happy turobed Integra... ...

hell yeh, your install went soo smoothly. if anyones wondering, taking out the AC makes things go soooooooooooo much better. I love the set up though dustin and im sooo glad u didn't go LSvtec. now its time to dyno it and get some tires.

when you say take out the a/c, do you mean the compressor? or remove everything?

the ac comrpessor was removed and we had to shaved down some of the bracket..

we remove the lines as well...

it doesn;t get that hot here in texas

It's a custom kit with a T3/T04E... .60 a/r compressor and .48 a/r exhaust housing with 4 bolt downpipe flange... Tial 35mm wastegate with .45 bar spring... Vortech 12:1 fmu with inline fuel pump... Pann Auto manifold with Revhard FMIC... (Not sure of the dimensions) Turbo XS BOV, and custom piping... Right now I'm just running wastegate until I get some tires for traction... Then I might turn up the boost... ... I had some pix of the setup taken today at Art's house so I'll see if I can get him to post em...

yes, I did an istall on a gsr and he wanted to retain everything, it was a pain in the ***. Hows the teg running, what boost. Bring it out wednesday race adam he just finished his setup. he's only running 6psi.

 

..and you didn't think you'd be boosted till after summer..Now if i can just get my car back together we'll have a pretty nice set to cruise..

 

That's what I'm talking about... Yeah I'll be out Wed. got my dumptube fixed today, a/f gauge is working and no more leaky fmu... I'm running 6 lbs so it should be a good race... What turbo is Adam running...? ...
