OT:figure this out problem
This is not a Honda, but this is the only forum I go into...I have a 92 toyota camry that's having some problems and I can't seem to figure it out. What happeens is that when the car warms up, the motor dies at idle. When I stop at a stop sign or something I have to power brake it jsut so it won't die. The idle falls off slowly then dies.
This happened to my buddy's civic and was because the Idle control valve was clogged, but the toyota doesn't have an idle control valve that I see.
I replaced the cap, rotor, plugs and it went away for about a year.
I just replaced those again with new wires also and it still dies like this. Please help me find a casue for this

I'm sure that your car has some kind of IAC motor on it. It may even be incorporated into the TB (plunger style) near the TPS. Also, Toyota uses a MAF sensor, right? You may have a vacuume leak between the TB and MAF sensor that's preventing proper fuel delivery at idle.
Good luck..
Good luck..
