Default Ostrich help

Can someone explain to me in detail how to install the ostrich on my chipped P75, it has a zif socket on it. I have everything loaded and hooked up but when I hit black check it says error and will not work. And the car starts and runs fine like nothing is loaded at all. Im a dumbass with computers so any help or links would be great. Dont say post on the uber forums because I did and searched but no help yet. Thanks

Did you read through the whole thread? if you are using UD1.7 or 1.7ost and it gives you the incorrect version error you need to change your firmware version.

download the firmware updater to your laptop which you are trying to run the Ostrich off of. Unzip it and run it and it will tell you what firmware version you have. To get UD 1.7Ost2 to work with the Ostrich you need to load firmware version 10.3.A. Download that too from the link above and unzip it. Then from your firmware updater click on the button on the middle right side with the three periods ... the browse to the 10.3.A file you unzipped. Once you have found it load it up and then in your firmware updater click on UPDATE.
