Default opinions on teh setup..

Hey Im just looking for peoples opinion on this, Ive seen the thread, but just want opinions, if I already have a wideband a/f, boost and oil pressure gauge is there a need for an egt gauge along with that? or is that setup going to do me just fine? Thanks..

hmm I mean is it necessary for tuning completely and whatnot? Im on a tight budget, so would it be considered overkill with my current setup?

lol that doesnt help, im on a TIGHT budget, but I think ive figured it out, theres really two ways to tune:

1: Narrowband with EGT (shitty ghetto *** way)

2. Wideband 02 sensor (no egt needed)

So im gonna go with, ill be just fine. Let me know what you guys think..

IMO you shouldn't need an EGT gauge on top of those you already have. Even with just the WB02 you're leaps and bounds ahead. I'd say a WB02 is worth more than 20 EGT units combined, and people perhaps pay too much attention to it (the EGT).

i have a innovate motorsports lc-1 wideband unit, so yeah, im just wondering if Ill be safe for a daily driver with just boost, oil pressure and wideband or is the EGT necessary in order to run safely? So far ive only got mixed opinions..
