Rashid is still 5 hours from his place, as its a 15 hour hike from New York to my place in Michigan.
This is what Ive gathered from him:
Gt35("R" i think)
750cc injectors
AEM EMS
fully built, CP 9:1 pistons(not sure on the rest)
Lots of headwork(not sure what, but those exhaust ports sure looked purty! I do know there is sufficient reinforcement for 11k rpm in the valvetrain.
Hes going for the S2k power record, so Im guessing the 750cc injectors are going to have to be quite motivated to do this(or replaced w/1000cc).

As for install, the hardest part is the wastegate. First the turbo and manifold, then the downpipe, then you have to snake the wastegate in between the downpipe and the fender, THEN tighten it all down.
Next, the battery has to be relocated, or replaced w/one of those TINY units, fuse box twisted 90°, tucked up into the fender. AC lines bent up over the strut tower. Obviously oil filter relocation is necessary.

So far there is about 45 hours into this(with only 3 hours of sleep Friday morning), and VERY easily double that to get the pieces to shipping status(have to build jigs).
All in all, I think this setup will work great for a lot of people, but mainly for the ones digging for the large power.
Ill have pics of the complete package tomorrow if I have the time.

Heres some off-the-car pictures. 47 welds minus the collector. Close to 43 feet of welding on the manifold(w/everything), another 20 on the downpipe. This weighs in at close to 70 lbs. The Stock exhaust on these weighs close to this, so we arent gaining too much.

Why turbo a car? It moves fine w/the stock motor 4" flows almost twice the volume, meaning almost half the backpressure of 3".
3" area=7.06
4" area=12.56
If you got it, flaunt it right?

Just got back home like 30 minutes ago and I'm beat. So here's a short list.

GT35R
CP Pistons (the part missing from the puzzle since I haven't gotten it yet)
Pauter Rods
AEBS Sleeves
Fully built head ported and polished ( http://www.alaniztechnologies.com )
750cc injectors (gonna bump up the fuel pressure)

I'm not going for the HP thing anymore and I'm basically gonna go for whatever the turbo can dish out since I'm pretty sure the block can handle it.

Any drivetrains improvments? Or is this slated to be a dyno queen like that 400hp yellow one, that can't launch for fear of shattering the drivetrain..... Ford 9in rear end in your future?

ya, made it home fine. One of the straps holding the left wheel tight came off some how in Penn. Good thing I caught it because right after there were a bunch of sharp turns and bumps galore.

Btw, I got sunburned on my left eye from the welder when you were finishing the welds on the exhaust :D

at least for Xtended amounts of time. I do it all the time, but its maybe 12 tacks over an hour. Not 12 tacks a minute for - (then "****, wrong angle", and cut/redo them) - 48 hours straight

Tinker 219: it's nice to see such expert craftsmanship coming out of our home state of Michigan....absolutely gorgeous work!!

And I wish some of these ******** would somehow start to comprehend how turbos work, and realize the reasoning behind large diameter turbine discharge piping..
