One-Fab Top Mount in a DA Pics
So I installed this a bit ago and it seemed there were not many ppl running the top mounts in the DA that I saw on hondatech. Only 1 or two, is here is another one for you DA owners.
This is the One-Fab top mount with 3" downpipe(Yes 3") I didn't get the top mount for the 4" downpipe. I got it for the fail safe oil return routing, ease of having all the bolts up top, and to be different.

Overall everything fit pretty good. The only complciation I ahd was the wastegate had touching the side of the radiator at first thus not allowing me to fit the top nipple. I ahd to cut down the wastegate arm and bring the wastegate back a tad and also angle it towards the front so to keep the flange at a perpendicular angle to the elbow. I decided to wrap runner 1 as well because as you can see it's only 1" from the runner and I wanted the line as straight and short as possible without touching it. so better safe then sorry. There's jsut enoghu room to weld the return fitting at the top right of the pan when you are looknig at it from the front. Beware when you cut and weld the fitting, make sure the inner baffles are not loose as you drill a hole right through one of the welds. With the half rad in there, the downpipe was also quite close so I wrapped that as well for safe measures. Overall I'm happy with the setup. Easy to install. Big to OneFab
My Review
My old setup consited of tubular JG log style manifold, full 2.5" mandrel exhaust, and chipped ecu... This new setup is generally the same other then new mani, 3" exhaust, ZDYNE ecu. My impressions as of last night are.. WOW. at 8 psi, it's faster then my old setup at 10.5 psi on the same turbo. I find it actually builds boost BETTER then my old log. My old log, I'd have to go WOT in any gear to build 1psi at 3500. Now I can build 1psi at about 3200RPM at 25% throttle. I had no leaks on my old setup either. Not only does it spool faster, but stronger, my mid range and top increased INCREDIBLY. Thus the 8psi now > 10.5psi before. My odl steup I ahd BAD traction issues as low adn mid were okay, but then the power would come on way too hard at about 6000RPM and rip the tires loose. Now my powerband definantly feels alot more linear and pulls hard from about 5000rpm so it doesn't try to rip the tires loose as bad as we are already making good power before top end. It's amazing. Overall, there is nothing I would have done differently. Any questions, feel free to ask

Re: (93turbo16)
That looks good man.. Nice to see good pic of one on a DA and the full-race traction bars look good. Did the traction bars put your alignment off alot? Who did your intercooler piping?

Oh ya I can easily fit a 4" If I wanted. Really, you can fit as large of a downpipe as you want. There is enoguh room for you to make a long gradual bend then tuck back in under the downpipe.

That looks sweet!
I like how you did the air filter as well...
Are you running the charge piping through the frame rail? Why did you do that instead of running it under?

Looks to me like the Autometer oil pressure sender. Nice setup in a DA. Mine will be finished soon

Re: One-Fab Top Mount in a DA Pics (JonDanger)
Sorry for the late response guys. This morning I had my full 3" exhaust put on, then had to work. Anyways I'll answer everyones questions.
G"UNIT: The traction bar did throw my alignment pretty far off. The caster was effected the most.
Bailhatch and redturbocivic: Yeah I noticed NOBODY was running an air filter? Why not, there is room(granted I've removed power steering and washer fluid so there are no reservoirs in the way. So I had to do it to show it can be done with a 30* or more angle bend, depending on your app of course.
EJ1 wilcox: I'm running it through the frame like that because you can't run it under the frame like in an EG/DC or newer. the older DA/EF's frame area there extends all the way down making that impossible where as EG/DC etc only go half way down.
oxSLEEPERxo: It is just a high pressure oil/fuel/water/etc push on Aeroquip hose. Found here: http://www.bakerprecision.com/aqp1.htm
raene: suprisingly no. It's been like that for months. I did originally have a clamp on it. Then one day I saw the clamp came loose and was dangling there. so I just took it off and haven't thought about it since.
Lei Siew Long: yeah Kwuaymaikrup is correct, it's my autometer oil pressure sender unit.
I've posted a pic of my car back in the first post.

Great pics....I was wondering how I was going to run my IC piping to the turbo. You answered that question for me though.
Hopefully mine will get here this week....trying to make a race this weekend.
