Ok, fitting size for BOTTOM of stock fuel filter...
We have established the size of the fitting on the top of the fuel filter (-6AN to 12mmx1.25 pitch Earl's part number 991945), how about the bottom?

one thing you can do is take off the fuel filter and go try out some bolts at the hardware store or some fittings at a local race shop....
one thing for sure is that it's a metric fine pitch...Most import brake line fittings are 10mm x 1.00 pitch, you can try that...

<--------was thinking the same thing...
If your running Braided line from the tank...then use an Aftermarket Fuel Filter with -AN Fittings.

The aftermarket filters are expensive and do not have a cool mount like the stock one.
But... hmm... where are some good aftermarket filters? I saw the AEM one but I'm kinda trying to keep my car AEM free...

or u can get the sx filter which has a "cool" billet mount they make with it
u still need to add up more of those "coolness points"

It is actually an M14 x 1.5mm, although the -6AN (9/16-18) shares the smae threads as the M14 x 1.5 up until about the last few threads of the threaded ends..

No, they're not the same. NPT are tapered, while all Metric are parallel. The diamater may be almost the same, but the threads definitely NOT..
