Default Oil sandwitch plate question....?

I'm trying to find a sandwitch plate to use for my oil cooler setup?
Just trying to find feedback upon these items.
If it comes down to it, I'll just pick up a greddy oil cooler kit instead just to be safe.

Has one used this....?

I used one made by Blitz. kinda looked like the second one. Its a pretty simple product, both should work fine.

go with the second one. I wish I did.

I bought the first one and it does not fit well on the back of the block. The two 1/8 npt ports would hit my waterpipe and cause a small coolant leak when I tightened the sandwhich plate down. It would not physically fit any other direction.

There just isn't enough room to use the first one well. maybe if you have the OEM oil cooler on the back of the block it would work better but I don't.

Some good words of advice, make sure you buy 45 or 90 degree screw in NON swivel fittings to come out of the sandwhich adapter to attach hoses to.

I ran into problems with both styles, the second transdapt one looks better than the one i had though the threaded ports are more flush than on my old one that i need to clearance alot to get it close to fitting, gave up and went with transdapt spin on adapter to fliter relocation using cheap mustang filters. buy one from golden eagle i am sure they figured out the clearnace issues with honda blocks.

I use the ones in the 2nd pic all the time. Work great
Just get the earls 3/8 plug for one side and the 3/8 male outside/ 1/8 female inside adaptor for the other side. Along witha 1/8 to 18 male adaptor

i currently use the 1st one with no issues. it was a little ruff to get it installed over the other units, but it works perfectly fine.

i have a oil cooler, oil temp and oil feed hooked up to the unit

No OEM cooler.

The lines run up the back of the block and then down the front to the cooler. I ran it this way so the oil heats up a bit quicker from the engine temps.

Im running a D-Series so there might be more room than a B-series or something.

You can see the larger lines to the right of the oil feed line right above the air filter.

I got the one that looks like the second picture from ebay. It fits perfect with absolutely no leaks. I think its a much better solution that using the t-fitting on the back of the block.

heres the one i got FTW

I think he wants to see one of the adapter.

I run the second one, no issues for me, but it too was on a D. I used 45's and swivel joints, i think they are called. Makes life easier.
