Oil restrictor question
Oh have a precision sc61 .81 hot side .60 cold I believe and my oil pressure on start up is 65 psi and then goes down of course with warming up but I need to know if a restrictor is necessary.
I read a .035 I think is what I need just wanting to see if I was correct.
And also where to purchase these for a good price.

Re: Oil restrictor question
No. That size is only for Garrett dual ball-bearing turbochargers. That size will starve the turbocharger of oil. .065" is what is needed for oil pressures over 70--80psi. In your case, you may not need to use one, but if you need to check Stealtmode or ATP turbo. There's no good price or bad price. Its one small piece of hardware. Get it and install. done.

Re: Oil restrictor question
Im running a .08" restrictor on my precision turbo. Like shodan stated the .035" is way too small. Some of my friends dont even run a restrictor on their precision turbos they just run a -3an feed line and thats it.

Re: Oil restrictor question
How do you know if you need a restrictor? Journal bearing vs. Ball bearing require different restrictors? I have a holset H1C that Im thinking about using, its journal bearing. If I am seeing 75psi peak oil pressure, does this warrent a restrictor. -3AN feed
