Oil Restrictor ?
I have a 93 turbo lude that smokes somthin fierce until the first bar of temp comes on , also a little oil in charge lines . I have done the search and it sounds like once the car is warmed up the oil pressure drops {no more smoke} .I know I need a rebuild that is on the way. I am currently runnin a -4 oil feed line , Is there a way to reduce down to like -3 an without changing my feed line? What have you guys done? Thanks
I'd check these things first; crankcase pressure and any blockage in the oil drain line.
Then I'd move to a restrictor method. The only thing that worries me about restrictors is the fact that a very small oil contaminant could block the restrictor orifice and block oil flow to the turbo...and you would not know it until it was too late.
Good luck throuble shooting the problem

I have a -10 drain line pretty much a straight shot down to the oil pan{drain up high on pan}I think it is too much oil pressure because once it is warm it will not smoke . It will only smoke when cold . I read that when the engine is cold the oil pressure is higher than when it is warm.
There was a brass 4AN to 1/8"NPT restrictor fitting that was perfect for what you want. But I can't find the dang part number on the NOS website. I'm pretty sure it is a NOS part.
**it was an autometer part**
