Default oil pressure question???(a question no one will answer for some reason???)

its not really toio important but im just kinda of curious...

i have a mechanical autometer oil pressure gage(the one that has oil flow to it). the release spring opens in the oil pump fully warmed up at around 3000rpm in my car and about 82psi of oil pressure and drops back to about 77psi after it opens. if im just cruisin at a low rpm(before the spring opens ill have a difference in like 5psi of pressure from WOT to 0 throttle. im just curious why. for example if i hold it at a steady 2500rpm driving around and the vacuum is reading 0 when i floor it but when i let of instantaneously at the same rpm but different vacuum the pressure will go up 5psi instantly with no change in rpm. kinda like the oil pressure is slightly vacuum sensative.
not a very important question but im just curious why it does that, thanks

From what I can tell, you're asking why if you floor it, but let off as quickly as possible your oil pressure still goes up? I'd say that no matter how quick you're able to "let up" on the gas pedal, your RPM's are still increasing a small amount (maybe small enough & quickly enough to not register on the inaccurate stock gauge). As your rpms raise this little amount, your oil pressure goes up ~4-5 psi. I THINK this is what you're asking, but I agree with FwdCivicHatch saying your question isn't the clearest thing to understand.

I wouldnt worry about it. You shouldnt have anything to worry about as long as your oil pressure changes with the RPM since it is entirely dependent and mechanical.
