Default oil pan...need help asap please!!

Okay, so how the hell do u take this freaking thing off? I've taken off the cover to the fly wheel, I've taken off all 18 nuts and bolts and now it's just sitting there. It moves and it can slide around and it's pretty much off, except there is that bar right underneathe it and I can't get it around it. Do I have to take off that bar? I hope not, it looks pretty secure. Any other suggestions or is this the only way? Thanks!

On my b16 you have to take off the front and rear engine stiffeners so you can take off the clutch cover. Then take off 19 bolts and pull it off. Nothing else to it. Just give it a good tug, maybe the gasket is stuck to the pan and block.

you have to take off the bar that you're reffering to.... i did on my 95gsr...i think the purpose of that bar is as an extra tranny holder nun big if you take it off but make sure you put it back.......

got that sucka off! But now I have a new problem. I was just told that the fitting that i wanted to weld onto it is made out of steel and I can't really weld it onto the aluminum pan. So what can I do to use for an oil drain fitting? Any recommendations? I want to keep costs down as well as use something that will not leak.

You can use a bulkhead fitting.
