oil drain line
so i just had my turbo rebuilt. When i picked it up he said my oil drain line was too small. I currently have 1/2 npt fittings at both ends and a -10 stainless line. What he told me that for my turbo (custom built garrett t3/t4) the drain should have a minimum of .600" diameter. Does this makes sense or should i be ok. I dont want to have to rebuild my turbo again lol

Re: oil drain line
Did you have to rebuild the turbo because of lack of drainage, or another reason? How was the angle on the drain? Where was your return tapped into the oil pan? Was the line kinked at all?
-10 should be sufficient, I'm thinking your problem was something other than the size of the line.

Re: oil drain line
lol. this is why i am changing the fittings, its a topmount setup, angle is great for drain and the fitting on the pan is as high as possible. no kinks
once again thanks for the help everyone, kind of hard to find the smaller details like this
