Just wondering.. how much is 'normal' oil consumption?

I changed oil before 1000miles, and now it's missing approx 1/3 (maybe even half) of a quart... I guess this is normal, right?
This is with medicore hard driving (sometimes slow, sometimes slamming it).

 

i lose oil. It's all on my hood. lol (turbo may need a rebuild) holds boost though!


Ummm you really shouldn't see that much. compression test.

 

That seems on the high side, but I wouldn't be overly worried. 1qt per 3000 miles isn't huge... but any more, and I'd be worried.

 

check all of your seals and that kind of stuff, could be a cam seal, or shitty oil pan gasket. just my.02
