I got one from a starion/conquest that's been soaked in degreaser and repainted. Not sure where to pick up the oil filter block adapter to run the lines to though. Anyone?

I understand people don't want they parts to corrode but why use paints that are insulators on something the is supposed to be a heat exchanger? They do make paint mixed with Aluminum flakes.

B&M Racing Trans cooler #130-70266 from Jegs $59.99 It's 2" wider than their biggest oil cooler (and $10 more) and does the same thing. 1/2" NPT fittings

my friend has a greddy oil cooler kit. and it's a fine piece of work.
i've been meaning to pick one up for a while, it's just really pricey compared to others out there, like summit's

But it also uses (form my understanding) a thermo switch that keeps oil out of the cooler untill it reachs temp which is better for your motor. Thats the reason I plan on going with greddy myself.

Why don't you get a B&M oil cooler kit which I found for $100 and a thermostat that regulates it....http://store.summitracing.com/...i believe that might be cheaper...and the GREX oil cooler is pretty big....the B&M is smaller and also stacked and should be easier to mount....which is what we are doing with my friends H22....really simple....

how do you run the lines? Do you need to get one of those adapters for the back of the block, where the oil filter goes?

Lets see some more pics of your guys' setups, like where are you mounting the cooler? And which adapter from the back of the block, and who is using a thermostat to regulate the oil through the cooler?

Here's another shot of my set up. I used a spin on oil filter adapter off the block. Then I put my filter mount (relocator) where my battery used to be. The thermostat is in the middle of the pic there and from that it goes to the oil cooler in fonrt of the car and then back up to the thermostat and then to the filter and to the block.

Try ebay for the oil coolers. I found the setrab 70 row mocal equivalent one new for 175. I think racerpartswholesale sells them for 500.00+.

If anyone can host them I have pics of my setup and yeah I spent way to much money on it.
