Water injection is not an octane booster, lay off trying to peddle this **** to everyone who asks a question in the FI forum

Toluene is your best bet fopr octane boost, do a quick Google search on it.

Have you ever used it or had any first hand experience with the substance?

Toluene (114 octane) is in much of the gas you buy at the pump. It is an inexpensive additive that will boost octane. Another alternative is Xylene (117 octane).
