you're gonna spend $1600 on an obx turbo.....if so I have some ocean front property here in ohio that I will cut you a hell of a deal on

...or did you mean $1600 on a turbo KIT? ...if so then yes its a cheap kit, heres a deal on a kit made from QUALITY parts
http://www.afiturbo.com/store/produc...2c429abf80093c

and heres a a less expensive way to go, but its slightly lower quality and missing the BOV
http://www.treadstoneperformance.com...ries+Turbo+Kit

keep in mind both of these kits are missing important things like fuel pump, injectors, and management

Turbos arent cheap, I just wish these 2 places were options when I turbo'd my first car I had $1400 in QUALITY used parts and a junkyard turbo

keep an eye on the drag FS thread. I know for a fact there is several good deals on quality manifolds and turbos RIGHT NOW.

so let me get this straight. you get what you pay for, right? well, anyone actually see how much just the turbo costs? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/OBX-T...Q5fAccessories here's one for $425. thats an obx brand. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Maste...Q5fAccessories there's a master power for $525. only a $100 difference. seems like its pretty close in price. one is a well known brand, the other is a knock off brand. it is however quite a bit more expensive than the general "ebay" turbo. just my opinion.

Holy crap... I can't believe they make all that crap... it even looks cheap... but the prices are NOT!

Don't get me wrong 700 bucks for a BB Turbo is cheap but 700 bucks on a BB turbo you can't trust as far as you could throw it is not cheap.

You should build your whole car with OBX stuff from top to bottom, that would be awesome

Well if you got enough money to throw around to be a guinea pig then go for it, I know you can buy a Quality Garrett .57 or .60 trim for under $600 that will make 400hp with room left and not have to question your purchase like you do now.

for 300-400whp a standard Garret t3/t04 50, 57 or 60 trim will get you their reliably and wont break the bank. a new one can be had for about 600 bones...

it sounds like you are dead set on these obx products..if it makes you feel better to use those parts then go ahead..the only obx product i had success with was an aluminum short shifter....thats about all i would use in my car. the obx LSD i used lasted about 20 seconds as i pulled out of the garage and it blew apart in the tranny.

good luck trying to get any kind of warranty from them when the part failes.....if you can find a phone number to their so called customer support....some cracked out drug addict answers the phone who makes no sense when they speak and wont have a clue on what to do or what you are calling for..........and this is no joke... i had first hand expense with that.

good luck

Do it right or do it twice..

OBX is complete junk ****, I can say this from repeated first hand experience with failure upon failure.
