Default Obd2b to obd1 conversion lagg

ive put in my new obd1 ecu with the jumper harness, and im glad i didnt mount it bcuz i have no power, at idle it pulses insted of running clean, it seems to be a little better as rpms go up, but its hard to get them up bcuz it sputters when u step on throttle or on throttle body, and ive moved it about 40 feet doing nothing but slipping the clutch. i didnt tune it, so is this bad tuning or do i need something im missing.

Ecu Specs:
Tuned for stock injectors with boost at 6psi
launch control 4500rpms
full throttle shift 6500rpms
redline 7200 rpms
cel shift light 7000rpms

Car setup:
.50a/r turbo at 6psi
external ignition coil cap wires w/ 1 stage cooler plugs
full exhaust
plus other non-important stuff

The ecu was tuned with crome pro, i would re-tune it, but i have no tuning experience and i only have uberdata and no burner.
Any real help is appreciated.

what engine are you playing with? When doing this swap, typicaly the jumper harnesses are made for the d16y8. That engine uses the two wire iacv setup, and the d16y7 uses a three wire. I had to swap wires around in the harness and you have to use only two wires on the iacv. I think, it's been a while now.

So, which engine are you playing with?

d16y7, the conversion harness is three plug yes, it plugs into the wiring harness fine and the new bd1 ecu fine, so its all good there any other ideas? im starting to think its a bad tune.

Do you know anyone that has a stock ecu. Any CEL's. I don't know, bad tune is a possiblility. You can download crome and try and make your own base map. Do you have a wideband? Where did you get the chip from?

Problem 1) As stated by coneheadsracing, which you misunderstood, your IACV is a 3-wire and won't work correctly without being rewired to work with the OBD1 2 wire control. This will make it hard to idle right off the bat.

Problem 2) Your injectors are 180cc, whereas most "Stock" Honda injectors are typically ~240cc. I'm willing to bet someone set it up for 240cc instead.

Problem 3) Which won't be a problem until you can actually drive the car... you're running a turbo with stock injectors.

You have a few things to look into now. Good luck man.

Yup, swapping injectors is easy. There's a few write-ups on the IACV rewire, just do a search online.

Good call, totally forgot about the injector size. That one got me for a couple days too, kept stalling on me when i got to a light.

Yeah, i misread what you typed earlier when you said you had the three wire plug. I used to have a nice write up on it, but apparently that thread was deleted. Go into the 92-00 civic forum, and find the writups at the top, and you'll have to look through the wiring diagrams. There is one that shows you which wires have to go where. It sucks, it took me a few hours to get it straight. I have a couple of pics, but i feel like they are stock, not what you are looking for. The actual sensor re-wiring is easy, but at the computer takes a little more. Let me know if ya need help, i'll try, i know how much it sucks to deal with this, been there done that.
