obd1 o2
so i was thinking what im going to do for my second oxygen sensor since i now have no cat and all. and i thought, i converted 2 obd1, they didnt even have a sesnor back there did they? it shouldnt even throw a code if disconnected right?
I am not really familiar with the system that well but i know when my car got uberdata'd i was able to turn off the O2 sensors if wanted, its got something to due with open loop/closed loop i believe.
well im spaking of the secondary that all it does is read the catalytics efficiency and how it working. but my question is that i know obd1 cars didnt even have the sensor, thay being said, if mine is unplugged it wouldnt even read it right?
sweetness.no cel then. when i first turned on my car the first o2 wasnt in so the cel came on quick. onece i plug it in and reset the ecu, i should be good

The OBD1 ecu doesn't look for the secondary 02. For convenience, I kept my hooked up and bolted to the undercarriage with an insulated clamp; just for instances like next month, when I'll need to throw a cat and the obd2 ecu on for inspection.
