hey there guys im changing my motor i have a 93 delsol with obd1 ECU and harness under the hood, will a OBD2 Gsr motor plug in and work with my OBD1 wiring harness thats under the hood thanks for your help

 

yes all you do is use the obd1 harness and get an obd1 distrib

 

You do not say what engine is on the Del Sol. If it is the 1600 sohc Vtec then the engine computer you have, remapped with a Hondata stage 2 system to GSR Spec will work the engine very well. You will probably lose a little low end torque.

hello there guys what i want to know is can i plug the obd2 wire harness that on the motor into the OBD1 wire harness thats in the engine bay (the plugs are the same) but do the wires go in the same place thanks guys

 

everything goes in the same place. But you must use your obd1 harness and not your obd II harness.

 

use your obd1 wiring harness.
