o2 sensors
I ahve a 97 integra ls obd2 and i converted it to obd1 so i can run hondata s100b. Im getting my exaust on and i need to know if i need bothe the o2 senors or just one. If one which one and what do i do with the other one? Or do both have to stay in?
Keep the sensor that is before the catalytic converter in the manifold. I had two o2 bungs installed in my downpipe though...one for the primary o2 sensor, and one for a wideband o2 sensor for tuning, that i have a block off bolt in when it's not being tuned.

One bung for your OEM o2 sensor for the ECU to read from, and one bung for the wideband to tune from. When going to get tuned, most shops around here charge you to weld on a second o2 bung if you don't already have one.

I never thought this would work...but i guess it would if you are tuning in open loop.

yes, you can put another one in for ***** and giggles, but you prob wont need it. most tuners like to take the primary out anyway jsut to make sure they dont get mixed signals or anything. becuase the stock sensor and when in closed loop makes changes to the mixture and can throw **** off when doing part throttles. i dont think full throttles its as much of an issue.
please correct me if im wrong, but im pretty sure.
