o2 Sensor Help
I got a OBD1 LS Motor in my car, and it did not come with a o2 sensor.
The LS & D16z6 Both use 4 wire o2 sensors, but my question is since my Z6 o2 sensor was just like brand new can I use that on the LS or are the parameters different? The plugs fit into eachother but I keep getting a Code 43 which is fuel system and it says that it could also be the o2 sensor.
If I can't use it where can I get a cheap o2 sensor for the LS Motor to get me by for now, or does anyone have a spare?

What ECU are you using?
There should be no difference between the two four wire sensors. Have you checked to see if the sensor is bad, or if there is FUBAR wiring on the engine harness? I recommend going through the flow charts in a HELM...lots of good info in there.
I get my o2 sensors from NOPI...like $65 or something for the NTK plug n play.

Re: (DaX)
hey it's Dax wasup man? Well there is a slight difference in the color of the wiring when we looked at the helms manual, but then again it was the helms for a 94+ Integra. I am using a 94 Harness, but the motor is a 93 that has been converted to obd 1. The o2 sensor that I am trying to use is good. It was pretty much brand new when I took it off my z6 maybe 5k on it, so yeah. I am ot sure what's up . . . maybe the o2 sensor is good but the air/fuel gauge is not bouncing like it should be, and I keep getting a code 43 (fuel system)
it sucks because it must be something that is wrong because after about 5 minutes of driving the CEL Light pops on so yeah it's something that eneds to be taken care of sooner or later. Pref. sooner since I am almost ready to re-boost again

Re: (Vtec92Civic)
BTW as far as ECU goes . . . . i'm running um . . . damn I think the p73 but i'll go double check. I am eventually going to run uberdata and my p28 since it's chipped for it already.

Like you said, the LS and Z6 both use the same o2 sensor...if you were to order both from an auto parts store, you'd get two sensors that are exactly the same.
I've never gotten a code 43 with an o2 before...mostly code 41.
Here is my tech writeup for the o2 sensor...it's mainly about converting a Z1 harness to use a 4-wire sensor...but maybe you can look on there and see what color wires go where and test all that out. Here's the link:

As far as the wire colors coming out of the actual sensor go...it depends on what brand sensor you buy. I used an NTK direct plug n play replacement.

hmm . . . what about a code #43? I know it says in the manual that it can be related to a bad o2 sensor, but what would trigger a code 43 then? The Fuel system is huge, it sucks that they couldn't make it a little more specific so u don't have to take wild guesses :-p
I'll take a look at your article and hope that it helps. My o2 sensor worked fine for the z6. It plugged right in, but now it seems like it might be kinda iffy. I'll need to double check on everything though.
