notch bumper support??

notch bumper support??

has anyone "notched" their bumper support to fit their intercooler better? ('94 GSR). i'd like to have air hit the WHOLE intercooler.. i have about 2" that sit below the opening in the grill. any suggestions??

i notched mine . it sits alot better , i tried without it and it hung below my lip on the front end

i notched mine (00 Si) and it worked out great, but im taking it off completley now to fit my big chiller

i thought that would be best. thanks. how did you then mount it? right now i have a stud on each end that goes into the bumper support... if i get rid of that part.. then how do i mount it?? "L" brackets??
