Not another Break-in question
I have 300 miles on my built B18b with an Sc61. Im currently using Castrol GTX 10w-30 and it runs like a champ, no smoke or burning at all. Should I change to Castrol Sythetic Blend now (which I plan to run forever) or do 1 more GTX for another 2-300 miles? Any opinions are appreciated. Im leaning towards Another GTX first.

Re: (EG6JUNKIE)
I ran mines 900 miles before switching my spark plugs and running castrol syntec oil, I tuned it on hondata right after I put the engine in about 25 miles on the engine. Been pounding it since my tune, runs like a champ.

Yes I did break it in with the turbo on, I did tune it very conservatively with good A/f ratios and a safe retard. Nothing that will make huge power but the motor will stay healthy. I did the hard break-in method and I have no smoking at all at 8 psi right now. I dont plan to go to syntec but only sythetic blend.
