NOS / Compression?
I'm just wondering... What kind of compression is ideal for NOS? If your running a turbo setup you want to have low compression, and if your going all-motor then you want to have high compression... But what about NOS?
This is my thought. I'm building an All-motor JDM B18C/ w a B16a head. The plan is to build the head with crower stage 3 cams, crower springs and retainers. Redline around 10,000 rpms. Change the pistons to JDM ITR. Fuel system upgraded, and all tuned by a Hondata S100 system. Compression should be somewhere around 11.3 with a spoon 2ply head gasket. As for the tranny... S21 with a Quaife LSD. Wheels Bogart & and M/T slicks 13x8x22. Hoping this gets me to 13.5 or below..., but I'll be satisfied if I can break into the 13teens... Oh yeah car is a 2000 civic coupe.
Here's where the NOS comes in. Can I still run it on my setup? I was thinking a 50 shot should be good. (For the track only of course!)
