Default Normal clutch noises?

Setup: 1995 Gsr, Drag kit 6.5psi, Clutchnet Stage 2 kit.

If I let the clutch out too fast or when my rpm is low, it makes a screehing sound. Sounds like tires screeching when you brake too hard with no abs. Is this normal? It gets annoying and I want to switch to maybe ACT or Action clutch.

I have asked the integra forum but I no luck there. Guess they do only need the oem clutch.

My OEM clutch does this too, and I have a feeling that it's the rivets touching the flywheel and/ or pressure plate. I'll be throwing a ClutchNet Stage 3 in there in about a week, and I'll let you know what I find. Hit me up on AIM (House of Boost) to remind me to tell ya.

Rivets on the disk? So the pads on my clutch is woren out already? Damn that is fast. Had this kit installed in Feb of this year. I drive my car everyday and do not race it too.

Thanks for your help. Anyone else?

Like I said, I don't know for sure 'till I get in there. The sound mine makes is a screeching metallic sound. And then again, the sound you hear could just be normal copper puck sounds...

*edit- and for the record, if you're doing it to save weight and if you think it looks "JDM."

mines actually does that too...it's an ACT clutch...been doing that for years...the weird thing is that it hasn't had any ill side effects, but my clutch release point does feel a little closer to the ground...don't know if that's related?

I think my bro has an ACT on his hatch and it makes that noise but not as loud and as long as mine. I have to release the clutch above 2k. Anything below will make that noise. Still not sure if that is normal.

I second the rivet thing. Mine started doing that so I put an Action stage 2KS in. It was the rivets scraping on the flywheel. My flywheel had a huge gouge in it and it was unusable.

I have the oem flywheel. Would an aftermarket one solve the noice problem?

Damn more money to spend.

What I'm saying is that it is from the material on your clutch being wore out not because of the flywheel. The Action clutch I have now doesn't make any noise and neither did my other clutch until the material wore away.
If you plan on reusing your flywheel, you should do your clutch soon. The rivets will dig in to the flywheel and eventually groove it too much to be used again.
