Default Noob to forced induction!!!

I am a noob to forced induction. Ive been reading a lot about turbos on this site. Last night i purchased a tdo4 off of a talon. How do I identify what kind of tdo4 it is, because that is all that it says on it. I have a 95 eh2 with the d15 in it. Will this turbo be alright ? also what manifold will alow me to keep the a/c. Ive heard of people using crx hf manifolds, but im not sure how eficient that is. Any advice would be very helpful. and next year i plan on dropping in a d16 vtech. Thanks in advance.

The TD04 is good. The HF manifold is a bit ghetto, and not nearly as efficient as a dedicated turbo manifold, but you would be happy nonetheless.

I recommend getting the cheap stuff: The HF manifold and adapter plate, a cheap flux-core MIG welder, and Uberdata. Teach yourself how to weld, figure out how to run piping and how to run water and oil lines, and then learn Uberdata.

Further down the line, once you know the basic dynamics of putting a turbo kit together, you can spring for the more expensive *bling* stuff.

take a look at the intake wheel of the turbo, most are 15gs. And compare it to this site.. hold on let me find it.
