no spark.. need help !!!

Default no spark.. need help !!!

ok, i thought my distributor was fucked.... so i bought a new one... and ... nothing... i just put a new chipped p28 in it and im getting at code 22 vtec... i had someone chip it for me ... maybe they fucked it up... but i have no idea why this car wont spark now... i have checked all the grounds and everything seems ok.. i just need some advice.... thanks... (please help)

was it doing this before you got the chipped ecu?

It could be ECU. If not, then run through a quick simple spark diagnose.

Cut the J1 wire jumper inside your ecu and it'll turn back to stock mode. See if beening stock solves your problem.

thanks guys... i have tried a couple different ecu's and nothing... i thought it was the dizzy cause it was all rusted and **** but i replaced that and still nothing... there was something wierd though... where the charge pipe goes by my powersteering it was touching a metal clamp for the PS and when i would crank the car over it would spark at that point... so i checked all the grounds and now it doesnt do that anymore but still no spark....thanks guys.. more help is welcomed!

try the main relay under the dash.....

check the fuses. the short could have blown a fuse. check the relay. try another dizzy / module

thats the last thing that i havent tried.. i relay think that is what it must be... is it hard to get to that relay? cause it is under the dash... how do i check it? like is there any way to check it with a multi meeter? thanks ....

all the fuses are good... i check them... and the dizzy is brand spankin new... right out of the box... i dont have a spare kickin around... i wish i did... thanks...

you have to remove a sliver box and then you can see it.i'll tell you and old trick.


hit w/a screw driver a couple of times.sometimes you get lucky sometimes you don't....good luck.
