No oxygen sensor, hurt performance?

No oxygen sensor, hurt performance?
Just boosted my car and somehow the 02 sensor got lost on the install. I have a 1 wire O2 in the downpipe to block off the hole, but it is not connected. How much performance am I hurting by not running an 02? It is a P61 92 GSR ECU

I'm sure without it the computer can't adjust properly. If your running rich enough that it won't make much of a difference then your ok as far as blowing the motor. I would get the o2 in there as soon as you can though.

yes no o2 will effect the performance of it i had a bad o2 but never made a code and had some strange problems, then replaced the o2 and all better

WOT it won't hurt you because the oxygen sensor doesn't make any adjustments. Other than that you'll most likely burn more gas durning part throttle conditions.

yeah . . . . . I ran without an o2 sensor when I first installed my turbo setup and everything was all good. I wouldn't do it forever but it is ok to drive it like that for a little while.

i'm pritty sure without the 02 it won't go out of warm up value, it wont' go into closed loop... (i get closed and open loop confused but i'm pritty sure closed is right)so it wont' run tip top, it will run like your car runs when it first starts.. but it will run fine... i believe.
