okay, so my car hasnt been boosting at all lately...like at the most, i get 2psi, i have a 9psi spring. i can hear my turbo spooling, and overspooling at times, so i decided to pressure check my pipes...i found a leak by my bov...now can just a leak around the bov cause my turbo to not boost like this? or is there a bigger problem?

 

maybe maybe not.

its hard to say, why dont you fix the hole and then you will find out.

i dont know if this is anything that would help you but my buddy with a 99 si with a drag kit running off the wastegate was having the same problem.. and it turned out to be a **** with his intercooler.. wasnt allowing any boost.. just a thought for ya..

 

well, i know the air is going through the intercooler, cuzz my bov is after the intercooler, so it must be going through it.

Any little leak will cause a drop in boost. My IC piping came disconnected and it would spool at all.
