hello i have b16 that i just turbocharged..and when the wastegate is hooked up it does not make any boost.But when you unhook the line from the wastegate it works..any ideas?

line setup goes from turbo housing to wastegate.

hey i have a typeR tubo and in the wastegate theres two line thing that u can put the hose for the boost if ur is in the rong one it wont work so tried to put it in the right side bicause if u said that u on hooked the hose and it boost than it has to be that

Where is the other end going to? what vacuum source? is it "T'd" off to anything else?

no it runs straight from the compressor housing to the wastegate.

On the end, toward the compressor housing outlet? May be TOO strong a source. Is the line collapsing?

that's how it's ran..i will try and hook it somewere else,and see if it works.

well check if is not bend on the butom maybe ur hose are old

yes it has a fire ring.

but where do you have the line running from the wg ? you could have neg vacume

it runs to the compressor housing..and your supposed to have pressure, not a vacuum source that's what ive read.

i have mine running to the IM, the IM creates vacuum. Yes if its connected to the compressor housing its pressure ha, but that could be your problem right there.

i ran a line from the manifold..it made 1 psi of boost instead of 0 psi.

i would take the wastegate apart and check for tears in the diaphragm. i also hope you have a dump tube on that.

the way you have the line routed is fine.
